A pineapple is a green portal with 8 x level 1 resonators placed as close to the portal as possible and 4 useless mods like link amps. The term pineapple comes from the look on the scanner from all the yellow resonators and the green crown on top. Typically a pineapple is created by a Resistance team player to annoy an Enlightened player.
